THE WEINSTEIN company fired its co-founder Harvey Weinstein on Sunday (Oct 8) after a disturbing New York Times investigation detailed numerous incidents of alleged sexual harassment, and now JAY-Z might be in talks to purchase interest in the company.
According to TMZ, several investors, including the music mogul, are in talks about purchasing the producer’s 23% interest in the company.
Hov signed a first-look deal with The Weinstein Company in 2016 to produce The Kalief Browder Story, and he also has a Trayvon Martin miniseries in the works.
TMZ sources claim Hov wants to continue his relationship with TWC by acquiring a substantial equity stake.
