Post Format Instructions
There are a total of 12 formats to choose from when submitting a post, Story, Audio, Video, Poll, List, Personality Quiz, Trivia quiz, Countdown, Open List, Ranked List, Image, and Meme. Consider the purpose of your post and select the proper one. The below provide basic descriptions of what each post format is used for.
List of the most commonly used post format:
- Story Format is used for blog, news, press release etc.
- List Format is use for HowTo, Countdowns, etc
- Videos Format is used for music videos, and any other types.
- Open and Ranked List Format is used for posts that show ranks of items and readers can vote up and down.
- Poll Format is use to create polls for a variety of subjects, politics, entertainment etc.
- Trivia and Personality Quiz Format is used to create fun tests about any subject, topics.
How to select post formats:
- Click on "Submit Post" in the top to choose post format
- If you select the "Story" format and want to add other format type to post, click the red "Plus" button at the bottom of post description field. Select "Listicle" to add list items.
