Dundalk make their first ever appearance in the group stages of the Europa League when they play AZ Alkmaar of the Netherlands on Thursday.
They make the trip having won all six matches since drawing 1-1 away to Legia Warsaw in the qualifying play-off round of the Champions League.
The League of Ireland holders are 10 points clear at the top of the table.
Dundalk hope to have a near full-strength squad with Darren Meenan and Ciaran O’Connor the only injury doubts.
Experienced striker Meehan has been recovering from a groin injury while fellow front man O’Connor has been out with a hip injury.
AZ are fourth in the Eredevisie, having won three and drawn one of their first five fixtures.
Last Saturday they beat Willem II 2-0 with goals scored by Iranian winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Trinidadian Levi Garcia.
The other two teams in Group D are Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel and Russian team Zenit St Peterburg.
The town of Dundalk in County Louth boasts a population of just 39,000 and its football is estimated to have banked more than £4m from this season’s European success.
