The time travel series that was popular among science fiction fans will not see a season four because it was cancelled by Netflix.  At the end of season three travelers program 1 failed and the long awaited initiation of Travelers program 2 will never be because the Director cannot see a possible solution to saving the human race.  If only that was true.  In fact it would be more acceptable if that was the case and an attempt to save the future was done in the future.
Deemed one of the most intriguing time travel shows on television, it garnered a massive following of a fans who were happy when it was made available on Netflix.  Those fans are definitely not happy now.  Travelers was one of those series that was easy to love because the complex relationships, protocols and the crazy mission to save the world was fascinating.  Eric McCormack the star of the series made a video announcement that was posted on social media on Friday that broke the fate of the show.

“A lot of you have been asking about the possibility of a season 4, but many of you have been saying, ‘look, if this it, what a moving and surprising and profound ending it is.’  well, i’m afraid it is [the end].  who knows what the future holds, but travelers program 1, as we call it, is complete… much love from 3468 in the 21st.”

Series creator Brad Wright reacted to the cancellation on Twitter and took a moment to thank the cast, the crew and the “#BestFansEver”.  Fans are not happy and for sure this traveler 6210 is not either.  Now we want to know what you think.

Were you a fan of the Travelers television series and will you miss it?
